More than just a pub company ltd
We are in the business of making magic!
The company was formed with the zealous (yes, zealous) belief that pubs can be magical places where all sorts of different groups of people meet, mingle and relax together. A place where you can share imaginative fresh food and quenching drinks, all served by exceptional teams who are obviously engaged by their work. Pubs can and should be like this, but many are not. The company seeks areas that are lacking or even devoid of such magical places, finds a tired and unloved premise to invest in and then breathes the life back into it. We view each place as being unique and so the effort applied is tailored but the results are always the same - magical!
Pubs are about people
We believe that if we maintain a relevant set of core values that our team members (and customers) can relate to, then we will get the best from our people for our people. We discuss each individuals values alongside the companies values at every team member induction. Values are also discussed and refreshed at monthly training sessions. New employees who are cautious at first about this approach soon warm to the idea that we actually value them and respond with great results.

The company currently operates 3 pubs in outer London centered around the intersection of the M25 and the A40/M40. This commuter rich area was chosen as a starting basis as although the residents were used to high quality, funky and relaxed eating and drinking environments where they worked in London they were returning home to find staid, boring or even down right grungy places on their door steps. Whilst central London was infected with 'gastropubitis' (everyone with access to a local boozer and a tin of Farrow and Ball paint splashing it on) the outer London market seemed to have stalled. This gave us the chance to introduce something fresh by getting back to the basics - great quality food and drink prepared simply in an environment as comfortable as you would find at home, only funkier!
