The easy going and friendly approach that you'll find at the Village Hall helped make it the proud winner of Family Pub of the Year in the Best Pub Competition 2004, run by Chiltern District Council and has been highly recommended in this category in other years.

Children are welcome throughout the day and there is a toy box, outside play area (in the summer) and a plentiful supply of paper and crayons to help keep them amused.


The kids's menu is all homemade (as with all our food) and a regular hit with those most forthright of food critics - the kids!

Our Jolly Farmer Room is a great place to hold a kids party with room for children to run around and play games, a box of toys and childrens channels on the TV. We can also provide you with a buffet for the children.
